The most exciting feature for me is the possibility by several people to simultaneously edit a document. To me it seemed like a magic. I tried it in class. In a post a few months ago, I wrote that Google Docs - namely Google package with word processor, spreadsheet and presentations -,
allow different ways of working documents . The usual way

Until March 3, 2010 there were two ways to work with Google Docs disconnected from Internet.

First method (to work on documents when you're disconnected from the Internet)

Google has created an application called Google Gears (in Gears English means "gear"). Goggle Gears, once downloaded and installed on your Compuer, should allow you to work offline using Google Docs.

Each argument is a one-week course . This is a total of twenty hours, four hours a day for five days.
After a first course on word processing (Microsoft Word) at the grassroots level, I was on the course asssegnato Internet and e-mail.

Gmail as mail

In this way, I had the opportunity to teach how to use Gmail to nine people in my class.

The results of the test results of the experiment ? For now (I'm on the third day of the course) I think are good:
* Two people had never had any mail box and now have it;
* A third person had a box with Gmail, but had not never opened and now has done it;
* A fourth person has, perhaps, a mail box at work, but not sure why no one has ever used. Now he has his private e-mail on Gmail.
* Other people who have other email accounts with other providers, seemed interested.
